Petals of Hope International is a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry providing education, protection, and opportunity for vulnerable girls and students in Liberia.
Our Mission
Education That Changes Futures
We believe every child deserves access to quality education, a safe place to learn, and the opportunity to reach their God-given potential. In a country where many girls face severe barriers to schooling, Petals of Hope provides a path forward.
Through our schools in Liberia, we offer Christ-centered academic instruction, safe and clean classrooms, school supplies and uniforms, daily meals, and faithful mentorship from caring teachers and staff.
Our Founders
Tony & Elizabeth Weedor
Tony and Elizabeth Weedor devoted their lives to ministry and to the people of Liberia. Born in Liberia and later serving together in the United States, they never lost sight of the children back home who needed someone to fight for their future.
Together, they founded Petals of Hope International - building schools, welcoming students, and trusting God with every step. Tony's gentle leadership, deep faith, and tireless service shaped everything this ministry became.
Though Tony is now with the Lord, his legacy lives on in every classroom, every student, and every prayer lifted on behalf of this work. Elizabeth faithfully continues the mission they built together, carrying forward a vision that is bigger than any one person - because it belongs to God.

Campuses in Liberia
Petals of Hope operates school campuses serving students from kindergarten through high school. Our classrooms are clean, safe, and designed to give every student the best possible environment for learning and spiritual growth.
With a high school expansion currently underway, we are working to ensure that students who graduate from our primary program have a place to continue their education - right here, in a school that knows and loves them.
