She Almost Didn't Get to Come Back

When her family couldn't afford school fees, one student thought her education was over. Petals of Hope covered what her family couldn't - and she returned to class the following Monday.

In Liberia, school fees are often the difference between a child staying in school and dropping out for good. When one family came to us saying they couldn't pay, we didn't turn them away. We found a way. That student is still enrolled today - and she's one of the brightest kids in her class.
