New School Bus Arrives in Liberia

New School Bus Arrives in Liberia

For years, getting students to school safely and reliably was one of the ministry's greatest challenges. Long distances, unpaved roads, and limited transportation meant many families faced difficult daily decisions about whether their children could attend at all.

That changed when a 77-seat yellow school bus -- donated and shipped from the United States -- arrived safely in Liberia. The journey itself was a testimony: the bus traveled from Minnesota to Maryland, then shipped overseas across the Atlantic.

What This Bus Means

The bus now serves all 166 students enrolled across the Petals of Hope coed school campus. Enrollment increased significantly in the same school year the bus arrived -- families who once hesitated now send their children knowing they have safe, reliable transportation.

Daily attendance has improved. Students arrive on time, rested, and ready to learn. Watching their joyful faces as they step on and off the bus each morning is a powerful reminder of why this ministry exists.

A Dream Realized Through Partnership

This bus was a specific prayer request carried for months by Elizabeth and the Petals of Hope team. God answered through the generosity of donors and partners who gave sacrificially. What once felt like a distant dream is now a daily blessing -- and a daily reminder that God provides for His people.
