At the close of the 2024 school year, the Petals of Hope Girls Academy campus came alive with music, laughter, and the unmistakable joy of a community celebrating together. Students performed songs and recitations for their families, teachers were honored for their faithfulness, and awards were given to students who demonstrated excellence in academics and character.
A Year of Faithfulness
The 2024 school year brought its share of challenges -- a difficult season for the Weedor family and for the ministry as a whole following the passing of Pastor Tony in March. And yet the schools remained open. Teachers showed up. Students kept learning.
The end-of-year celebration was not just a party -- it was a testimony. A community choosing joy even through grief. A school community pressing forward because the mission demands it.
Looking Ahead
As students headed home for the holiday break, the Petals of Hope team began preparing for a new year with renewed vision. New classrooms were nearing completion. A school bus had been secured. And Elizabeth was praying and planning for the growth she believed God had ahead for the ministry.
